As the title suggests. My computer crashed while playing world of warcraft and when it restarts i get no signal to any screen.

I later go into bios as i managed to get a screen from the motherboard. in here i find that my card isnt even recognised by my motherboard.

Any ideas on where to start? My computer shouldnt break after less than a year.

My graphics card is Amd radeon R9 290x.

I would really appreciate some help with this as i dont have the money or the patience to buy a new graphicscard/return it to the seller.

I should add that the graphic cards fans are spinning. And have crashed a few times over a few weeks over games that it should do more than fine with. (Dota, Smite, Wow) So something is wierd. may it be windows 8.1 or my card.
