Windows 7/XP Dualboot Startup Issues?

So, I've had a dual setup with W7/XP for a few months now and I don't know if this is the reason why, but I'd just like to note it. Anyway, when I first setup the dualbooting everything was alright, then on occasion it started to come up with a disk error - I'm not exactly sure what, but a few restarts would always fix it. That error started to come up more often. Today I was on my PC - I have Steam downloaded onto my second drive and when I tried opening it, it crashed. Tried to open it again and it said the path didn't exist, so I go into my E Drive to locate it and guess what? No E Drive there. (E Drive is my Second Drive btw. I should also note that my XP and 7 are installed on the same harddrive, not my E. There's about a 100 Gig partition for XP off my first drive.) Anyways, now whenever I turn on my PC it doesn't give me the option to choose what OS I want to boot up and it just starts to load 7 and then it automatically freezes... So, any ideas? I have a repair disc that I used a LOT when trying to get XP to work in the first place. Now I'm thinking that maybe just ridding of XP might solve all this bullshit? I don't know though, please help. :L
