I am building a new rig, Asus Z97 deluxe, Intel 4790K and G.SKILL F3-2400C10Q-32GTX. I seated the CPU and fan, I connected all power cables and when I power it up it passes the CPU post (on board LED) but fails the next post step (on board DRAM red LED stays on and will not allow me to see video. I tried re seating each memory stick... no change. I pressed the MEM OK button and the red LED flashes as it goes through the process of checking memory settings and the goes back to the red LED. I reset the CMOS, still no change. I suspect dead memory however could it be a bad MB too?

1. Check RAM slots to make sure as per Manual.
2. Use 1 stick at a time in slot spec'd in manual.
Check BIOS when / if accessible and see what settings are.
