Well, imo when you want to upgrade this, upgrade the motherboard too so you can really get a good cpu.
Why do you need more than 8gb's of ram? Do you really use all of it?

Yeah psu is good even for most upgrades, just wanted to be sure though.

You can go with the Asus Maximus VII Hero, you can even go with whichever Intel I-5 quad core you would like around $230 or possibly upgrade into an I-7 series but if not doing nothing but video streaming (watching videos) and gaming shouldn't need to go higher. If you are recording and streaming from your recordings then we should know and you might want to go into the I-7. Can use G-Skill Ripjaws 2X4 Ram sticks and upgrade to more later or now. You choice really but would say you dont need it. This kind of gives you the flexibility to see if there is anything else you are wanting to do. You mentioned GPU, PSU, havent mentioned if you use an audio card or anything else. You also havent mentioned if you use the computer dedicated for anything else.

you would still be using the 8gb of ram,but i still don't know why you would need to upgrade that.

It is possible that you'll need to reinstall windows with this new motherboard so you know.

You could also use this cpu,it has hyper threading which might be good with the streaming,

it has no igp nor overclock possibilities.
You could keep the motherboard,it supports sli and the psu is good for it.

Forgot about casing, if its that important you can do as Vic mentioned. Keep your ram and get a new case, if not, case is usually last on my list after I part out everything I need/ want then I find a case to carry it all.

Thats great but would you recommend any other cases? im not sure i like the look of the one you choose, i just need a nice big one which looks decent. also will the cpu be better than my current one? and how future proof is it?

Yeah if you want to, take the component options Vic gave you and go to another site with cases. Start narrowing your search down by inputting the selections he gave and things you think you will do with the case. Then pick the case from there.

What are you looking for in a case? Clean look? "Gamer" look? Silent? Is this something for you? (don't mind the price, just the looks)

Large and with gamer looking xD

If you want larger then you will look more into a full tower case like these in the price range: Full Tower

If you want a gamer look you get more options if you add back in the mid towers with these options: Gaming
