Which software to create windows ISO with preinstalled apps

Which software would you recommend to create an ISO of windows with all the updates and my chosen preinstalled apps.

I want to make an ISO that I can place on a USB and use to boot from. I know of software which will format the USB and set the ISO up, I just need it to create the customized ISO.

Also, an additional question; When I create this ISO which is bootable, can I also save additional files on the same USB? I ask this because the USB is 32GB, and it would be a waste of space to just have the bootable ISO on it.

Why isn't it going to work?

I don't care about the format, but when I've made a bootable file before, it has been ISO. You know what I mean right? Like when you build a new computer, you can boot from a USB and save the operating system on a seperate C drive.

In this case my girlfriend has a faulty computer that needs to go back for repair, but wants a backup of the operating system but with all the updates on already as well as the applications shes installed.
