I have an Intel Core i7 2600k overclocked to 4.3Ghz and it never exceeded 4.3Ghz before. (How could it when that's what I set it to?) Anyway, I got the Samsung 840 EVO a couple days ago. I booted up my PC 5 minutes ago and it loaded like 20 applications during startup in a second literally. It went so fast that Intel Turbo Boost monitor went all the way up to 6.4GHz for a second then 5.8Ghz then it never went past 4.3Ghz. Is it normal for the clock speed to go way up like that because of the SSD while booting windows? It doesn't exceed 4.3Ghz except when windows is loaded sometimes because everything just loads instantly.

Turbo boost monitor was a faulty reading. I suppose because it got loaded instantly along with all the other applications it loaded instantly it couldn't get an accurate reading until everything was loaded. Plus I'd probably get a BSOD if it actually went at that speed even for a second @ 1.3V on the vCore. I thought it was weird it said that oh well. I guess that's a good thing then.
