I quess the main question is: will my system be faster with 16GB of RAM or 32GB of Ram? Or does it really make little or no differance in speed that I should care about?

I'd like to get some recomendations on installing some G.Skill memory in my new system. I tend to be leaning towards one of these G.Skill (i.e Trident, Rippjaws or Snipers) X brands. But I have no problem with Corsair Vengance or Domminator if it's better memory.

The system I'm building may be silghtly overclocked so I'd like to make shure that the memory will be ok with some slight overolocking.?

Trom tradesman1's reply to another persons post above, he recomends G.Skill memory between 1866/9 to 2133/9. But that builder was on a bugget. i'm not.
My question's are:

1. Which G.Skill memory model (Rippjaws, Trident or Snipers) should I buy if I'm not on a bugget but i also dont want to waste my money?

2. If i use 4 8GB sticks thus filling up all the slots (32GB) be slower than 2 8GB sticks in 2 slots (16GB).In other words, will there be any noticable differance between 16GB and 32GB to my system.

3. Is there much differance between 1866/9 or 2133/9?

My new System:
IIntel I7-4790k
Msi Z97 Overclocking Motherboard
32 GB GSkill 2400 Trident Memory 4x8GB
Corsair HX1050 watt power supply
Corsair 256GB Neuton SSD
Seagate 1TB HD
LG Blue ray DVD
Sapphire Vapor-X- 290 video card.
Corsair 110i cooler
Thermtake Level 10 GT case

If budget isn't an issue, I would go with the Trident X in 2133/9 or 2400/10. 32GB won't be slower than 16GB - if you using a memory-intensive application, it will be faster. If the applications are not memory intensive, the speed will be about the same but with 32GB you'll be able to run many more of them simultaneously at that speed.

Here's a good article on how the speed and latency affect performance with Haswell chips: http://www.anandtech.com/show/7364/memory-scaling-on-haswell

Thank's for the very helpful link. I will go with the G.Skill Trident X 2400/cl10.. Just ordered 2 sets of 2x8GB (32GB total for mb) I order 2 sets of 16GB because there is a $20.00 USDollars promo on each 16GB set. ($343.98) incliding tax and shipping to me in San Francisco, CA. form NewEgg.
The link You provided answered my ?'s about memory and crossired video cards.. I have 2 Sapphire 5970's in my current EVGA x58 micro I-960 system.....
Thank's Again.from DBD....SOLVED

Good deal. One caveat - you might experience compatibility issues with a mixed set, even if they're identical as they were not binned and tested together as a set. I'd recommend mirroring the banks when you install them to minimize possible conflicts - put one pair in A1/B1 (slots 1 and 3) and the other pair in A2/B2 (2 and 4).
