Hello everyone,
This is my first post so please ,bear with me .
So, my problem is that I have a pretty descent pc with a good GPU and processor so at the moment I am having some money to shell out like wise 700 dollars but I don't know if I should upgrade my pc or go for ps4 or even xb1 .
Recently I was bit irritated with my pc because though you have good specs but u can't achieve
What you wanted or you are not satisfied and you want more from it. For eg - watchdogs I was having so much expectations with the game but it was turn out to be a disappointing one in terms of performance so much stuttering and all. So I was thinking as big games coming this fall
Should I upgrade my pc or buy a console for smooth performance or with that money I can make a good upgrade which will live up to the hype . So experts please guide me to the right path.

My rig:-
Procy- i5 2500k
Ram - 4gb
GPU- gtx 760
Mobo - as rock b75 (not sli compatible)
Hardisk- 500gb
Psu- corsair cs 500w

More about : upgrade buy ps4

Watchdogs was just an unoptimized PoS your pc its more than enough for 1080p high you should wait for the upcoming 800/900 nVidia series
and you may still have enough for a ps4 in case you want to play exclusives

Thanks for reply, btw ur suggestion Is that I should hold on GPU until 800/900 series release .SO when they are going to come ? And yes I do like some ps4 exclusive especially wwe 2k15 and last of us so if I could get both the things done then that would be awesome !

Doesn't look like you need a GPU upgrade at all to me. You have a fast processor in a cheap motherboard, you could always swap that out, get a new heatsink, and start overclocking to get a little more performance out of the system. Another 4GB of memory wouldn't hurt either.

That would run you about $200, plenty left over for a PS4 or Xbox.

Yo . Just get a good 8gb ram at 1600mhz and u wont have lag on watch dogs. Watch dogs is minimum 6gb . 4gb is holding back ur CPU and gpu . Also your PC is stronger than ps4, u will mostly get more fps and graphics on your PC than ps4 trust me. This fall will be awesome .

I had similar system but gtx 750 ti. Added 4gb more ram and upated the game and all stutters were gone.
Also set texture to high as for ultra u need 3gb vram but I guess yours has 2gb ram

Anything that comes from Ubisoft is gonna be not-so-optimized on PC, sadly. Personally, despite this, I prefer to stay on PC. Consoles don't seem to have backwards compatibility anymore. If I want to play a game in 10 years time, I can easily do it on any PC, but I would still have to have my old console to do it. PC games never really become worthless, while console games do without the specific console. The only reason I would invest in a console is if I specifically want to play the exclusives it has.

Pro tip: Get more RAM.
