I know there are like thousands of these threads in this forum but well...asking does not hurt anyone I guess. :)

So basically i want to switch from console to pc cause i don't want to pay microsoft's ridiculous 60 Euros per year anymore (So far I probably spent like 200+ just on xbl Gold) Also there are endless upgrade possibilities if you are using a pc wich is one of the reasons I want to switch. Also I don't want to spend more than 700$/Euros

So that being said, here is what i had in mind for my first PC build:

Case: Vengeance® C70 Mid-Tower Gaming Case
CPU: AMD FX8350 OR AMD FX8320
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Mainboard: Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0
GPU: ASUS Radeon R9270X
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport (2x4Gb Ram)
Harddrive & optical drive from my old pc
PSU: I got stuck at this part cause i really don't know what to choose (50-

So i guess this pc would do perfectly fine for some very basic video editing, working with music programs (i might want to add a soundcard later) and of course playing games like bf4,bf3 on med-
high settings. (for me it is more about the gameplay than about graphics anyway)

And there is one last thing I would like to ask: if i take the old HDD and put it in my new rig will it be able to run programs that I bought and licensed under the machine id of my old setup? I guess not and this might be a stupid question but i really don't want to loose expensive programs. Maybe i could tell the software publishers my pc broke down and i need a new license. Well that is all.

I appreciate every kind of feedback/answers on this build :)

Oh and sorry if I just made 4k mistakes. My native language is not english.

If you want to save some money the Pentium Haswell and Celeron Haswell chips are a pretty good catch. And it will set you up to be able to upgrade to the Devils Canyon Lga 1150 Chips as they become available for a lot less money. The gpu you picked is pretty good. But if you can grab a 280x with the money you save getting the Celeron or Pentium.

That build should work great for your needs. Try to look for a decent 550W and above unit for your PSU. Try not to go below a tier three unit from this list:

As for your programs, it really depends on how many computers it was licensed for. If it's one computer then you would need to buy a new key, or you could try calling their tech supp and explain the situation which may or may not get you a new key.

i'm not sure if you can use the hard drive. Depending on how old it is will affect whether you can use it or not. The best bet is to go either contact the software companies or go to a tech store to recover your data. Anyways, here is the build. A bit above your budget at 850-ish euros, but this can run bf4 on ultra with a minimum of 60 fps.
