Hi guys, I'm new to PC building and this will be my first build. I want to build a high end 4K capable gaming PC. I'm looking to build it around the Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 295 X2 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card, as it has had a £350 price drop in the UK and it seems like my best option. http://

This is the build I have come up with:
http://

What would you guys recommend I change? And is everything compatible with the r9 295x2?
This comes out at around £1620, £1350 with the VAT taken off, and that is roughly my budget.
This will be my first PC build, will it be complicated? Or is it simply a case of copying a youtube help guide video?
Thanks

Not quite sure that is the build you intended to link, it has dual 780Ti.

Haswell E just came out, might as well build with that. i7-5920k/i7-5930k Or drop down to Haswell (Devil's Canyon) and use an i7-4790k.

4k is not quite a thing yet. I would wait and shoot for 1440p. Which a 780 Ti or R9-290x can handle very well and save you some money and give you more options.

4k maybe the standard in like 3 or 4 years at which time the hardware will be much better and you will be able to grab something that could push 40-60fps at 4k by then I would imagine.

What a strange collection. B85 motherboard with an i7-4790k for someone planning to do 4K? H97 at least to get Crossfire. Z97 for the best feastres.780Ti really lacks the memory for proper 4K output. A pair of GTX780 6GB is better from that perspective, or Titans. R295X2 is just the best bang for the buck right now when it comes to 4K ready. 4GB per GPU and plenty of speed. Equivalent for Nvidia is just very expensive in the form of the Titan Z.

I understand your point that 4K isn't a thing, but for gaming, it is just setting a screen resolution.

Nothing wrong with building for the future. I think you will see an amazing price drops in 4K monitors over the next year or so. Soon as all the goodies like FreeSync and G-Sync and refresh rates are hashed out there will be some use for being 4K ready. In the meantime a 4K capable machine can run EyeFinity and Surround setups with relative ease.

Thanks for your answers, I think I will go with my original build. I have no need for Haswell E and the other suggested changes where unnecessary.
