4Gb ddr3 1333 better than 2x 2gb ddr2 800 mhz

My question is, 1x 4Gb ddr3 1333 Mhz perform faster in games or programs than 2x 2Gb ddr2 800 Mhz?

yes it will perform better than the 800mhz ddr2 because it has a faster fsb speed .. hope i helped

But it's single vs dual which means it's less bandwidth so less performance.

bandwith vs fsb & lower latency timings,, drr3 has lower latency timings than ddr 2 and this particular ram has a wider fsb so it should slightly out perform the ddr 2 800 mhz or if not on the same level

actually there are few motherboards that has ddr3 and ddr2 on it but you can use only one at atime..i had one of those motherboard previously..

Ddr2 is typically lower. Ddr2 800 is typically cl 6. Performance is negligible in either case.
