Hi,

I want to build a relatively decent system for gaming, and as such my current parts list concludes of

CPU : intel i5 4690k
MOBO : Asus z97-k
RAM : Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866mhz 8GB (2x4GB)
SSD : Sandisk 120GB
HDD : Western Digital 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
CASE : Corsair Carbide Series 300R black windowed
PSU : Antec Earthwatts EA-650 650W Platinum power supply

Now, for GPU i was thinking Gtx 770 2gb, but with my limited knowledge about them i cant decide what im doing or what is best for my money. For price in the GPU area i am looking for something £230 - £280 roughly, maybe up to 300.

Also, i am not sure about whether i should buy aftermarket air cooling (if so what type) - does case come with stock fans?

thirdly, should i get an H100i liquid CPU cooler? i hear they are good but not sure if the stock would be sufficient ? i have next to no idea of overclocking or such if that helps, also it sounds scary and i want to protect my beauty :p

Any other part suggestions are welcome. So far i have purchased the CPU, Motherboard, SSD and ram. I will soon purchase the case, PSU and HDD from amazon and need to know if i should also order the H100i with them.

Thanks
Rob

Yes the case comes with 1 x 140mm front and 1 x 120mm rear fan. Probably enough unless you just like lots of fans.

The stock CPU cooler will not be adequate for overclocking. You will need either a good quality air cooler or water cooler. The H1100i is great. But if this is your first build, it may be a little intimidating to mount correctly the first time.
If you don't plan on OC'ing, you won't need an aftermarket cooler. But then you could save some money and get a non-K processor.

The i5 can handle any card you can afford. Your PSU is adequate for any as well. It is all up to your budget. The GTX 770 is as good a choice as any in that class...
