Should I use Intel® Turbo Boost Technology on a laptop and is it worth it?
Does it really help at all?
Some sites it'll up the CPU's from, i.e 2.5MHz to 3.0MGz.
Is that actually true or not?

It's automatically in use.
It just means when a short task is being performed, and there is thermal headroom (Laptop isn't already hot). It will speed up a bit to finish it quicker.
