The best power supply for this setup.

I'm going to get myself a gaming rig and I don't know which power supply I should use.

The rig:
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 770 DCII
Motherboard: Asus m5a97 R2.0
CPU: AMD fx-8350 8C 4.0Ghz
RAM: kingston hyperx fury 8gb
Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

I have selected a SL700 700W supply, but is that too much? Should I go for a 500W or a 600W supply instead?

The Inter Tech SL700 is a very low quality garbage unit. Donlt wast money buying it. a Good 550w PSu would be enough for the system if you plan on alot of overclocking you may want to get a larger unit. Here's a tiered list of power supplies go for a tier 1 or 2(a or b) unit.

Well, is Zalman LX 600 any good? Couldn't find it on any tiers, only ZM was there.

Hi - there no trusted reviews of any of the LX series, but I'd look for other options. Only one of
the LX series(LX 700 EU) is certified, and an OEM (Hui Cheng Tech) of unknown quality.

With that CPU & GPU you should get a decent quality unit. Where are you located &
what is your PSU budget?
