Im looking for a gaming computer costing around 4 to 5 hundred dollars. I would like it to be able to run games decently well. I normally play Strategy type games (Civ, and Total War) with a little FPS in there. Does Any one know of a build that could accommodate these needs or at least point me in the right direction?

How about Austin Evens Photon Build? http://austinnotduncan.com/builds/photon/

Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit: If it can make a big enough difference i would be willing to spend $600

Do you need to buy an OS, CD/DVD Drive, and wireless adapter?

Yes/No. Is Steam OS at all viable? If not, then yes.

This is my build I came up with :)  anyone feel free to edit it in any way. I hear EVGA PSU's are good, so I chose it over Corsair.

What kind of benchmarks would this get? Would it be better than the Photon? Thanks for the quick build

I looked at the Photon and the builds will be likely identical in performance. I feel like my build saves money and is better by going with the Intel CPU (even though the AMD can be overclocked). It's really a tough comparison I will say.

Actually, wait a second! That Pentium can be overclocked. Let me change the motherboard to a different one that will allow you to overclock the Pentium and really beat the Photon! Give me a second.

Okay, Thanks, is it prepared to buy in this state?

Okay! The build will do fine without overclocking because that would require a much more expensive motherboard. You can buy it anywhere in America. I would also wait for some other opinions, too. :)
