When it comes to editing more cores on your CPU really is important, as well as RAM. If your not doing it professionally just as a hobby, you can get by but I would say try and at least get a quad core for editing.

You could get a cheaper Keyboard and Mouse and be fine. Try Thermaltake eSports brand some good shit over there
