Hey, I currently have an i5 4690k at 4.2ghz with a hyper 212 evo, Asrock z97x killer, 8gb 2133 mhz ram, and an r9 280x. At 1.15 volts and 4.2ghz with prime 95 small ffts, it hits 79 degrees celcius after 15-20 mins. I really want a better overclock and cooler temps, but my case, a thermaltake commander, isn't big enough for a 240mm radiator, so 120mm is my limit. I was thinking about the h80i, but I don't know if there's a better option. I'm hoping to get a solid 4.5 to 4.7 ghz overclock, but I don't know if that's too far for a 120mm rad.

I have an H80i and it really isn't better than a high end air-cooler. I used to have a CM N520 that I replaced with the H80i and it's only getting a few degrees of better temps. Don't waste your time and money on that because if you're going to be doing major overclocking on water, you're going to need at least 240.

Also, why can't you mount a 240 rad? You should be able to mount it either on the top or the side panel, or even possibly on the front if you remove the drive cages.

Hey, I have about 1 inch of clearance between my mobo and the top of the case. Plus, I have gskil sniper ram, which is tall stuff, so I think a 240 wouldn't work. I could see swapping cases as long as a new one wouldn't be too much money.

My h100i was great while I had it. Traded up to build a new, full water loop PC.
