I have a ASUS P5N32-E SLI motherboard
and a Intel E6850 Core 2 3.0 cpu.The card has to be in the 120 to 150 dollar card range because i dont have that much money right now.My current graphics card is an old geforce 8800 GT.It has 2gb of ram and win7 .And the motherboard slot is PCIex16 slot. And will a PCie 3.0 card work on my slot? Are they backwards compatible?

Your mobo is OK. Your CPU very weak. But you should be OK with a GTX 750Ti if it'll fit in your case and you have a good quality 400+W power supply.
