So I was recently having audio/sound card issues, I was trying to solve http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2291840/asus-xon... , I disabled my on board audio via the bios as the handbook for the sound card suggest. But now for some reason after powering on I can't get to windows. Any suggestions?

It will go past the boot screen smoothly. i had the welcome screen or whatever the transition was after the bios disabled on startup so I was immediately entering my password from the boot screen.

Right now my pc will hang after the boot screen after a few blue dashes and some color distortion at the top ( - ) appear at the top left the rest is just black screen

running startup repair to see if that does anything

ok. so go up to the login screen.
With the onboard audio disabled in bios.
Login to safe mode, and uninstall the Realtek audio driver. Note the driver exact name and version, just in case you want to reinstall it later.

reboot and do your normal login and see if it go farther
