Hello guys,

I've encountered this weird issue with loading games after upgrading my graphic card, I was using MSI HD5870 previously and all the games were running completely fine until the upgrade. I'll try to put it down in point form so it's easier to understand.

1. Uninstalled graphic card drivers,
2. Reboot in safemode and removed existing graphic card driver using Guru3D's DDU(Display Driver Uninstaller)
3. Shutdown, Replaced old graphics card with the new one,
4. Boot into windows
5. Installed Drivers with Catalyst control centre(I've tried the latest version 14.4 and from Guru3D's 14.8)
6. Run games(Dota 2, Team Fortress 2)
7. Game loads and run totally fine ONLY the first time after installing the drivers
8. Exit game, start loading another game TF2 or DOTA 2 again, the game gets stuck at loading, windows process shows "Not responding" But if I wait long enough, it will come back, usually about 2-3mins.

My Observations:
1. When the slow load happens, there's minimum harddisk activity occuring after the first few seconds upon launching the game, previously, I observed that the harddisk activity light blink rapidly until the game loads - window's it's probably doing it's job.
2. It works perfectly fine only the first time I installed drivers, subsequently it takes a damnn long time to load, from 10secs or so to more than 2mins. Windows stops responding for awhile, only task manager works, even then I'm unable to use my mouse to click on the tabs to close the respective process(up down arrows work), (probably blocked by the game itself)
3. During team fortress game play, just right after a change of map, the computer would hang for about 1-2minutes before I can get connected, again, usual time takes about 15-30 secds.

I have the latest drivers from both windows and AMD, latest Bios aswell,

here are my hardware specs:

Processor: AMD Phenom II X2(Unlocked cores running at X4, B50 @ 3.2ghz)
Motherboard: Asus M4A785TD-V Evo (Bios version 2105, dated 23/7/2014.
Ram: Kingston PC3-10700 Kingston DDR3
Graphic card: MSI R9 280x Gaming (detected as HD7970 on CPUz)
OS: Windows 8.1

I desperately in need of help, I've tried everything I could before coming here, hope someone could be kind enough to help! Strange thing is that loading of games work fine only once after a fresh install of drivers, so I think there must be something to do with the software/driver, registry has been cleaned using CC cleaner.

Should you guys require more info please let me know! grealty appreciated!!
