At my office, which has a network with a Netgear Prosafe VPN FVS338 router, with about 20 PCs running Windows 7 and XP. We get internet through a cable modem. If I connect the cable modem directly to a computer, I get Youtube - no problem. When I run the modem through the Netgear router then to a PC, the Youtube page loads up but I get white noise where the video is supposed to be - with the error saying: An error occured, please try again later. Videos from other websites play fine but if it's hosted on Youtube - no deal.
I figure if Youtube plays directly when using the cable Modem but doesn't when going through the router, It's being blocked by a setting in the router somewhere - maybe port 80. In the router I've checked Groups and Hosts, Source MAC Filter, Block Sites, Rules and Servies, Schedule and Port Triggering. In fact I've checked what I think is everything on the router but can't get any PC to play Youtube videos when passing through the router. Any ideas would be appriciated.
