Just upgraded to a Seasonic x650 and after powering up I noticed I can hear static when pages load or the mouse pointer is moving over stuff. Not sure if this is the power supply or an issue with cable management. The old PSU I had was a cheap Rocketfish model I got at Best buy a long time ago but all its cables (modular, believe it or not) were wrapped in that mesh stuff. Only the the mainboard cables were wrapped in that on the new Seasonic and the rest were the ribbon type. I didn't really change the cable routing so I'm wondering if it's something with the PSU or just that the ribbon cables are not shielded enough or maybe some kind of grounding issue? I use studio monitors for my computer speakers and haven't had an issue until I upgraded the PSU. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah. Will definitely do. Just trying to get some input before I open it up again. The only thing I can think is that it has something to do with the cabling since I can't imagine that the new PSU could be the issue. I'll report back hopefully with everything working fine.
