I bought a new headset (Steelseries Siberia V2) After using it, mostly on Teamspeak and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. I noticed that half way through the game, my headsets mic would stop working for some reason. I was using teamspeak and playing Counter Strike at the same time. I noticed that my teammates could not hear me. (I also asked them) So I Alt+Tabbed out of the game and checked and sure enough teamspeak could not pick up my voice either. I checked my Recording Devices settings and it was also not picking up my voice. I then disabled and re-enabled my mic. That seemed too work, but only for a bit. Then it stops working again. So I'm trying to figure out if there are any fixes to this, it is very annoying to try to communicate with people in mid game and the headsets mic stops working. There is also a "Mic On/Off switch" and It is set to on. The computer detects that my mic is plugged in, but it is not picking up my voice. The Disable/Enable method is very short term. I would be so grateful if someone could help me fix it for good.

P.S I'm using a 3D Sound adapter.

Things I tried:

1. Checked for outdated drivers.
2. Deleted my PnP device in Device Manager, and then re-installed it.

Thanks!

Hi Christian, might be an idea to hit up SteelSeries support through http://steelseries.zendesk.com. Maybe they have a solution.

I was thinking it was a computer side issue. The mic works completely fine (When its working)

Make sure that your settings in teamspeak are referred to the steelseries, if not that could cause your problem.

I think I may have fixed it. I just plugged it in to a different usb port and I played a whole game and it still hasn't shut off! :)  Thanks everyone for your help & if it messes up again I will tell you,

Was just about to suggest that myself, glad you got it, though.
