I have a In Dell Inspiron 1545 withToshiba 250 GB.Now neither BIOS is not detecting Hard Drive (working fine for last 2 year) nor does the Windows install detect the HDD. I have another hard drive ( Hitachi) which is working fine.what can be the problem? Is the hard drive got faulty.Is there any one who can help me?
I hear continued beeping from the hard drive.I got the following message right after the Dell splash screen:
"Internalt for multi core processors will be disabled.
No bootable devices - strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility
press F5 to run onboard diagnostics."
I tried to run the diagnostics a number of times but after a few minutes the computer just shuts down inexpectedly before it's over.
Is my hard drive dead? Is there any chance it can be in normal condition?
