Good evening everyone in the process of building a new I7 4790K system and would like some input.

System will be used for gaming mostly. Budget is between 2k and 2500.

Current set up:

AMD FX8350
Asus M5A99FX Pro Mobo
32 Gigs Kingston Hyper X ram
Cooler Master GXII 750 Watt Power supply
R9 290 4GB Sapphire Tri X GPU
Antec 1100 Gaming Case

New build so far:

I7 4790K CPU
Asus Maximus VII Gene Z97 Motherboard
Western Digital 3TB HD
Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB SSD
Kingston HyperX Genesis 16GB (4 x 4GB) - DDR3-2133MHz
Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler
Reuse current GPU
Reuse current case
Reuse PSU

How does my Mobo, Ram, SSD, air CPU cooler choices look? Is my PSU good enough or should I upgrade that?

Solution
HDD is up to your usage. I've only got a few Gb left of the 3Tb in my iMac, and the 128Gb ssd is getting full too.
Overall looks good. I got the Maximus mobo, similar to the Gene. It's good.
For games 8Gb is plenty.
I would recommend only 1TB of HDD, and the SSD; and the RAM doesn't need to be overdone. I'm sure, they can be cheaper.
I would also recommend an extra R9 290 to make a setup like a R9 295X2, but weaker, since it'll give you sufficient performance on 4K.
And the PSU, I would add a AX1200i instead.

But overall, it's fine.

I already have one 2tb hdd full and storage is fairly cheap, I figure 3TB should do for now. I'm playing on a single monitor at 1920x1080.

Was looking at the Antec High current gamer PSU 1000 watt, still reading up on it.
