As the title implies I would like to ask the GAMING gurus on their thoughts on a OC-able CPU and Motherboard set-up for the graphics cards mentioned without worrying too much about price but dont be ridiculous (bro just get the most expensive one). Cooling will be solid as well. Im looking for the premium gaming experience with headroom for the future ie 4K w/ multi monitors. READY? FIGHT!!!

A pair of 780 Ti's can push around 60 fps WITHOUT any AA. If you can live without AA, you can game decently well on a pair of 780 Ti's or 290X's, but if you want more than that, you're getting into CrossFire 295x2/SLI Titan territory.

i5 4690 in whatever midrange atx board you prefer. Despite claims of "games will start using 4+ threads real soon guys" for years, most games still use no more than 4 threads in the vast majority of cases, and are often limited to 2. An i7 is overkill for gaming, and current processors are plenty capable of keeping up with the demands of high end graphics cards.

Personally, though, I'd suggest maybe holding off on the GPUs given that the 980 is coming out in less than a month and will either get you price drops on 780s or more performance for the price if you get 980s. Don't get too hyped for 4k with multiple monitors, unless you're SLI-ing Titans or something.
