Greetings :)

I am new to the world of building gaming PCs, however i have a build in mind that i would like
you all to look at. My budget is around 900 - 1000 AUD. If there is anything wrong with the system build please don't be afraid to change it up as long as it is within the budget range. I already have a Monitor and mouse/ keyboard.

Thanks.

Have you tried other Aussie stores which are cheaper. Like MSY, Umart, CPL and Centre Com are the best place that offers the best price. And have you also tried PCPartPicker Australia before.

And if you do overclock the CPU, then a CPU cooler is recommended as stock don't cool as well as an aftermarket cooler.

Hope this helps. ;)

If shipping isn't included, then I would make two changes:

Change the FX-4300 to an FX-8320 (as much as I'd rather suggest going Intel, I don't see a good way to do it that doesn't involve a G3258 and heavy overclocking, and your first build isn't a great time to learn how to OC, especially with AUS prices) +$50

Change the 270X for a 280. +$30

That bumps you up to $918 before shipping, IIRC. The 8320 isn't a GREAT processor, but it's going to allow you to do a decent amount more at once due to the extra cores and is marginally better in most single-core situations than an FX-4300.
