Computer Specs before anything.
CPU: AMD FX-8350 (CM Hyper 212 Evo)
MB: GA-970A-UD3 rev 1.2
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB 1866
GPU: XFX Radeon R9 270X
PSU: Rosewill Hive 650
HDD: WD Blue 1TB

So I'm at my wits end with this problem. My computer will randomly freeze on me, not BSOD, not crash/error, FREEZE. All audio and video stops, the mouse and keyboard become unresponsive (can't even turn on/off num lock). The only way to get it working again is to hard reset (hold down that power button). Sometimes I can play games for a day or 2 and it won't happen. Watch youtube or twitch streams, but then there's days where I can't watch youtube/twitch and I will freeze within 5 minutes of starting a game.

Now, for ALL the things I've tried.
I have done NUMEROUS scans for viruses/trojans/malware/etc. I've reformatted probably about 6 times. I've done disk checks, memory checks, ran Memtest 5 times (only get errors in test 7 AND only when running dual channel), ran WD data lifeguard (told me it was in perfect condition). I've tried 2 motherboards, 2 sets of RAM, 3 PSU's, 2 GPUs, 2 HDDs. I'm literally out of options to seeing what is causing this. The only thing I haven't been able to test is another CPU, but that's a bit harder to test.

I've been getting some help in a separate thread (HERE [Skip the first 10 posts, separate problem]), but I could really use some more points of view.

Any and all help is very much appreciated and thank you in advance.

Also, when I was searching for the problem/solution for my MB, I came across this review on amazon and I tried use this as a bit of reference.
So I disabled:
• AMD Cool & quiet
• Hardware thermal Control
• CPU smart fan control
• AMD C1E Support
in my BIOS, thinking it might help, it didn't.

What I think is happening is that voltage fluctuations are causing you problems .

The things I have been suggesting are about reducing the dependence on perfect voltage control . But you have replaced psu's and mb's so we should be able to eliminate them as the issue .
Im wondering if maybe the psu isnt smoothing out fluctuations in the local line . It could be as simple as a small wiring fault in your home

So, I couldn't really move my computer setup to another room, so I used an extension cord to connect to another outlet in my room and then in a separate room and froze both times.

No that couldn't be because I've taken my computer over to friends houses and I've frozen there as well.
