I had installed Windows 8 on my computer on drive C, and locked my drive D with BitLocker after a while I gave my computer to one of my friends to install a new windows on it, while installing new windows, he formatted my Drive D too... I had about 30 GB important Data in it. I wish to have that Data back. I have the Password and Recovery Key of that drive. now it shows the drive empty. Please and please do anything you can everybody! I'm from Afghanistan ***Personal info removed by mod.***..... Thanks!

Your data is gone. An encrypted drive appears to recovery software as just so much random data with no recognizable file structure. BitLocker and other encryption is designed to prevent recovery. You've just learned a valuable lesson, the hard way, about the importance of backups.
