Hi there,

I never thought that I would resort to asking a question here given I work in IT, but alas here I am.

I have 2 PC's, a Laptop and a Desktop, both on Wireless. My Laptop runs fine, my PC refuses to load webpages, however online games run.

The PC will get "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET" followed by "ERROR_CONNECTION_CLOSED" However, I have CMD open and I am pinging www.google.com and it's constantly pinging so my connection is working, but nothing loads! Also have 4/5 bars for wireless connection.

I fully reformatted and did fresh Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate on both my Laptop and Desktop, but my Desktop still has this error (using laptop to post this). It occasionally comes up with a SSL Connection Error, although the date and time is correct.

Does anyone know what can be causing this? My PC was fine 2 months ago, last month it started doing this error, and now it's always doing it. If I'm really lucky I can get a webpage up for like a minute, but no features on that page load, then I get the error again "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET" but it's not - as my ping is still pinging and online game doesn't disconnect, all while constantly pinging google. (ping www.google.com -t, never drops out.)

Errors are in I.E and Chrome, although internet connection works, and games run (World of Tanks, which used UDP packets)

All 8 or so devices on my home network, except this PC, and it's an i7 4770K @ 4.6GHz cooled by a H100i, with a GTX 770 SC ACX and I want to have this working, as it's my main rig.

Any help is much appreciated.

All drivers are up to date. To confirm, I can sit on TeamSpeak and talk to people, while the webpage starts so say "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET" - I can even be playing games and this error occurs on web pages.

Eventually TeamSpeak (Program used for communication) and games will drop out as well however. The Wireless Network Card is a TP-Link TL-WDN4800. I can restart my pc, and a website will work for around 2 minutes, then drops out with a "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR" followed by a "ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED" followed by a "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET"

Could this be a faulty network card? Given no other devices in my house have any issues at all.

None of those message come up I'm afraid, I can sit on TeamSpeak and be talking to people, while watching my Chrome loose connection on my 2nd monitor and eventually show the above errors.

The errors are showing in Chrome and I.E. Have just done a fresh install and Windows Update, so no AV to run.

I can load up a page for about 20 seconds, then I start to get the whole ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED then ERR_CONNECTION_RESET.

Apart from having no internet access through browsers, no, there are no additional problems.

Online games and TeamSpeak work, but internet browsers are saying that the internet connection has been reset and do not load any pages.

Refreshing Google Chrome just alternate between the errors pages ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED, and ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. Internet Explorer jsut says "Page cannot be displayed"

I've flushed DNS, netsh winsock reset, reset router, reinstalled windows, I just can't work it out.

If I connect to my iPhone for an internet connection, it works fine. When I connect back to my router, I get the above errors.

I haven't checked with my ISP, however I am moving house this weekend which includes a new router, so will see if this was the cause.
Teamspeak isn't installed currently, the only thing installed is Windows 7, Wireless Drivers and automatic updates.
