I'm trying to find out a very good quality PSU for my pc as I believe my current PSU is nearing it's end..
Basically my pc config :

Asus P8z77V PRO
i5 3570k - 4.1 GHZ
Gigabyte GTX 460 SOC (1gb)
2 sticks of DDR3 Ram
120 GB SSD
1TB 7200 HDD

I was thinking about getting an Antec NeoECO 620W.

So I'm wondering will that be enough?
(I do think about getting a new graphics card soon)

Thanks a lot!

That will be more than enough. A 500-550W will do too, so some money can be saved there which most of us want to. ;)

But the problem is that is a tier 3 PSU not really suitable for overclocking. So try to get one from tier 1 to 2. Here's the tier list if you need some assistant and guidance.

If I for example go for a 550W. What about XFX PRO550W Core Edition?

Seems to be the only thing I can afford right now at that price/tier range.

That's great and in the tier 2 list. But I really don't want to force you to fork out money for this. If you want to spend less then it will be fine too. What I was saying is the PSU tier list is more like a scale to what to choose for the system.

No that's completely fine. Rather spend a bit more on a better power supply and be safe than being cheap and frying my computer.

However, going with that 550 watt psu. How much spare room do I have though? Like less than 100 watt?

Yes that's true. My analogy is that a PSU acts like a heart of a living thing. If it is destroyed or stops working, the body will stop functioning. This applies similarly to a PSU and the system.

The CPU uses 267W on full load.

The graphics card contest use much so 550W will be great.

I leave it here for you to do maths. ;)
