Hello

I recently built my PC rig, My psu is the Corsair VS650w psu. I've thought that corsair makes excellent power supply units, and it was quite cheap. therefore i didn't hesitate to buy it.

After a while i read some reviews that the corsair VS series psu units are bad and it also comes with Chinese capacitors (Capxon). it's is also not 80+ rated (Maybe due to the fact that this psu is only sold in countries with 220-240v output, and the 80+ rating is according to US standards).

So, should i replace my psu unit to avoid the risk of damaging my PC components, or should i leave it as it is?

Solution
You will be fine mate although I still wouldn't recommend a Vs series because of the parts and quality if it. The PSU is still a Tier 3 and not really suitable for overclocking (which you can't do anyway) so you will be fine.

Tier three - Meets standard ATX specifications, though closer to the edges than Tier two units. These are still solid units, which still supply stable power to your system, though not ideal for serious overclocking

Thank you for answering. If i plan to change my GPU in the future, to a card that uses more power although not above the 650w requirement, should i still keep this PSU or change it?
