I have installed windows 8 on core 2 duo e4500. The graphics driver were updated automatically by windows. The problem is the maximum screen resolution I am getting is only 1240x720, which doesn't allow several apps to open.

I have searched over the net but haven't been able to find Graphic Driver for Windows 8 on Core 2 Duo e4500. Please advice if there are any graphic drivers available or is there any way to increase the screen resolution?

Operating System: and whether 32 or 64 bit Windows8 32bit

Are you running Windows 8 or Windows 8.1? They are entirely different in regard to most drivers and much of the core OS so it makes a difference. Are you using the integrated graphics or an add in graphics card? You might try reinstalling the Windows 7 32 bit drivers, make sure they are the 32 bit drivers, after uninstalling the current drivers. Sometimes just reinstalling the drivers corrects resolution issues. I don't see that there are any Windows 8 or 8.1 drivers available for that motherboard from the Intel website.
