Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle here, recieved my two BenQ GL2450s, running and i7, Nvidia 770. I've plugged them in, one through DVI-D and the other through HDMI. The computer detects them both, however only the DVI-D one actually shows a picture, whereas the HDMI connected one is pitch black and shows a message 'No cable connected'. All the cables are securely connected, it seems theres a compatibility problem of some sort. S.O.S

Have you gone into the screen resolution and clicked the detect displays? also do you have your monitors set to the right cables, sometimes on first setup you have to tell the monitor to use the hdmi port if it doesn't auto detect.

You see when I click on the menu button of the screen, it doesnt show anything, presumably because 'No cable connected' so I cant even select the HMDI input medium. Regarding detect screens, yes I have however nothing seems to be showing.

what 770 do you have? does it have two DVI ports? If it does and I may be wrong but I thought if it does then one of the ports is linked to the HDMI port so try moving your dvi cable to the other port.

If the monitors are the same try swapping cables on the monitors. It should work, I have a 580 that runs 1 dvi and 1 HDMI out of the card for my dual monitor setup.

I have a GTX 770 which has a DVI-I and DVI-D port a DirectPort and HDMI. Having switched over the cables, proved that both screens are in working order. There seems to be an issue with the HDMI, however the previous screen I used ran HDMI and worked faultlessly, so the port should be alright as should be the cable.

Hey guys, just managed to solve the issue. What I did was plug the DVI into the monitor that was not working (HDMI plugged in) went into the menu of the monitor, switched input to HDMI, swapped the DVI back to the first one and it all came together. Thank you very much for your concerns and your time!
