50mb/s still lag???

Hello
My name is leon days ago i had a new internet fitted (fibre optic broadband), and i get 50 mb/s download 15mb/s upload and 23 ping on ookla speedtest.
but when im playing on my online games i still lag and jump forwards and backwards.

please could someone explain to me what i can do to sort it out, explain whats happening or if i should wait abit and it should sort itself out?

Is your PC wired or wireless? If wireless is it 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz band? Online games usually need very little bandwidth, but do need a low latency connection. This is why wireless networks and online gaming usually do not fit together well.

Check the servers ping before connecting your internet connection is meaningless lag is depicted by distance not speed. Anything above 100 ping feels laggy to me, unless this is a hardware problem than that would be reffered to as frame rate issues not lag
