I have a power energy device (an emh meter to be specific).
The meter has a modem (variomod XC gprs modem) which is capable of send mails when certain events take place. These events are dependent on users.
Basically what I desire is to configure it so it send me mails. I created a a gmail account, configured same on the modem with necessary SMTP settings (smtp.gmail.com) but I have not received any mail from the account set up on the modem.
Now I can say if it is actually sending mails or that i can not just get the mails, thus the need for some insights here.
Wish I could drop some screenshot of the configuration interface.
