Which one is important for Video or Image Editing Ram Or Cpu

please guide me
I buy new system but it's not high end system
here is information
Cpu g3220
Motherboard h81m-c
Ram 2 gig 1333
now please tell me if I wanted to buy new cpu or ram in future, please tell me which one is very important for video or image rendering for example for adobe software
for example I need to upgrade my cpu to core i5 or upgrade my ram to 8 gig ?
because my Budget is low

Ram first, then a better CPU.

You will need both, i would go with an i-5 4670 or a i7 4770 and at least 8 to 16 gb of memory, But to your question your CPU is definitely more important to video editing programs, especially ones that are multi threaded.

Cpu just makes it take longer to render. But without enough ram, you could start running into errors.
