Hey guys and gals, i'm new to here, i recently did a clean install of my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit. Installed both my GPU's, plugged in the 6 pin power adapter and snapped it in place correctly. When i installed the Catalyst Software Suite and Software 14.4 from the AMD official website. The installation goes perfect. and my screen is all good. but the second GPU isnt installed correctly, when i go in Device Manager i see 2 "AMD 6770 Graphics", one is fine but the other (being my second GPU) has a triangle with exclamation point. i've tried installing the driver for it manually but got a blue screen of death thats showed "atikmdag.sys" as the error causing the screen. Would any of you be able to tell me how to get this fixed so i can have CrossFire (oh and my CrossFire bridge in installed as well) -Thanks

Solution
You only need to install the video drivers once. Installing the drivers again is redundant. You configure the crossfire settings within the catalyst control center.

Since you are having issues with your video card drivers. I suggest using Display Driver Uninstaller and then install the 14.4 drivers or beta drivers if you like once and then configure the crossfire settings in the control center.

i actually did install it once, but still shows a triangle with exclamation point on second GPU. i have a M2R32-MVP ASUS Motherboard, made in 2006. Last night i had tried Vista with still no luck, installed motherboard river, again no luck. Then i tried linux, and it detected both GPUs, and Crossfire showed up in my Catalyst window. I'm thinking its a motherboard issue with windows it self. might upgrade the MB.
