Okay, so I have a problem. I recently bought the Sims 4, but it refuses to play with my computer. I contacted EA, sent them a copy of a dxdiag, and they said that I needed to update my graphic card. (Which I initially agreed with, since it hasn't been updated since 2008).

But the Intel website says that my graphic card driver is up to date. So what do I do?

Card: Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family
Driver: igxprd32.dll
Driver Version: 6.14.0010.4926

From EA's viewpoint, 'update' = get a new one.

Most likely your card is inadequate to play the Sims 4. Do you have trouble playing other recent games?

They meant you need a new graphics card not a driver. But you have a laptop that is not upgradable, so you'll need a new system.

I've been able to play Sims 2 and 3 perfectly fine. (I don't really play a lot of games) The only one that I haven't been able to play was Deadpool.

Shoot. I was afraid of that. Since I am in a graphic design program at college, I will be getting a Macbook pro soon. So I guess I'll just have to wait for the mac version of sims 4 :/

Shoot. I was hoping to avoid that. Alright, thank you.
