best cpu to use with gtx 780?

hi i currently have

amd fx8350 @4.0ghz
gigabyte 990fxa-ud3
corsair 16gb ram 1333mhz
xfx 850 watt psu
nvidia gtx 780

my question is would my gtx 780 be better with intel cpu or is my amd fx8350 okay ?

Your FX8350 is fine. You can always OC it if you like.

It is fine. you might get a bit more from Intel but I wouldn't think it long enough yet to warrant the expense of a full platform change. Just keep what you have for now, then maybe in a few years upgrade to Intel unless AMD has some better offerings at that time.

Your FX-8350 is ok... You would get better performance switching to an i5 4690k or i7 4790k but It wouldn't be worth the $350-$500+ it would cost to make the switch.

cpu is fine, it'll do well on cpu intensive games and won't bottleneck your gpu at all

As a side note, if you haven't bought all of this yet, you might consider just getting 8GB of RAM instead of 16GB. 16GB never really gets used up, the average is below 8. Might save you some extra cash.
