Im buying new graphics card, so i have looked in many shops and in my price range i can find gpu whit 2gb ddr3 or 1gb gddr5..

so i have two questions
1. what is difrence betwen ddr and Gddr?
2. what is better 2gb of ddr3 or 1gb of gddr5, i have read across internet arguments for both, but what is better for gaming in high details on 1920-x resolutions ;)

More about : graphics cards ddr3 gddr5

DDR3 is a slower type of memory compared to GDDR5. Effectively these are just cheaper cards and the slower ram can slow down the video cards.

For 1920x1080 I suggest sticking to the 2GB cards. So if they have something like a GTX750 with 2GB of GDDR5 that would be my pick. Or an R7-250X or better from ATI/AMD.

Best to not pay too much attention to individual specs of cards. A card designer balances different components and technologies to reach a desired price/performance target.

You can almost just look at price alone. At every price point, you will gat fair value and little difference between amd and nvidia.

In general, newer gen cards will be more power efficient and run cooler.

If a card has ddr3, it's too weak to even think about gaming that requires 2 gb.

Gigabyte is a reliable company. First choice is usually ASUS or EVGA for Nvidia and Sapphire for ATI/AMD.

At this level, it really depends on what you can afford.

Gigabtye GPU'S are 1st/2nd in terms of components quality. They use there own custom PCB that has 2x the copper of other brands and the WindForce 3 cooling system is the best out of them all.

Gigabyte doesn't market them self as much as they should. But they are more for high end and they have a very big fallowing.

The reason they are priced the way they are is because they sell allot of MB's and GPU's so you might find they are about in the middle price point.

Also if you look. They offer 3 year warranty's on there GPU's while there closest competitor, offers 2 years.

If you want the best GPU cooling system and components, Gigabyte is the way to go.

If you check out the non biased reviews you will find that Gigabyte always comes out on top. I've been using Gigabyte MB's and GPU's for years now and before that it was Asus but I was having to much issues with them and there RMA process is horridly bad.

You can go with almost any top brand and get good stuff but you get better stuff with Gigabyte.
