Hello,
My TV is connected to my GPU (radeon r9 270) via HDMI. Once every few hours it acts as if the HDMI cable is unplugged, disconnecting and reconnecting to the TV. This process lasts for about 3 seconds (TV turns black).
I was told that the price of the HDMI cable does not matter, as long as the connectors are gold plated. So dollar store HDMI cables would work fine. That is the cable I am currently using. All of the TV's in the house and other components are using the same HDMI cables. And no problems.
I use the AMD driver autodetect to get the latest drivers. My O/S is Windows 8.1
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
