Hey,

I have put this build together (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/aGGLee/saved/qTwmP6) Is there anything that won't work (i checked the compatibility on PartPicker) or is there anything that could be replaced with something near the price? I want the price to be as close to the current as possible.

Sound card isn't necessary. Better board, with better sound. No upgrade path, and inferior performance going with FM2/FM2+ platform.
