Issue with computer freezing at random points.

Hi there, first time poster. A few years ago I've built a rig (mainly for gaming). Since then I've been replacing parts in it as they went. However at this point I have no clue as to what is wrong. At random points in time the computer freezes without a shutdown or anything, just completely still. I bought new RAM and a hard drive but that did not aid the issue. The Graphics Card, motherboard and power supply are relatively new as well. All temps run at about 30-40c under load.
The parts are as follows
CPU AMD Phenom II X6 1070t
Motherboard GIGABYTE 990FX
GPU ATI Radeon HD 7790
8GB of RAM
PSU Corsair CX750

If the unit is plugged into a power strip or UPS, unplug it and plug directly into the wall.

If your motherboard has onboard video, remove the graphics card and connect to the onboard video or try a different card slot to see if the problem resumes.

Check to make sure all case fans and most especially the CPU and PSU fans are operating normally and that there is no dust, dirt or debris accumulated in the heatsink under the cpu or gpu fans. It doesn't take long for crap to build up.

Download HWinfo or another thermal monitoring utility to check cpu and motherboard temps and voltage readings.

Run Seatools for window to check the hard drive (I know, you replace it.) and hard driver controllers.

Go to device manager and see if any hardware is remarked with an exclamation or question mark.

You might also try the RAM with a single stick at a time in the designated slot for single operation first and then in other slots to see if maybe you got a bad module, (Unlikely your old RAM AND your new RAM are bad) or more importantly if one of the motherboard slots is bad.

This really sounds like a voltage issue with the PSU but it could be anything. That CX PSU is a third tier PSU and I've seen quite a few of them end up being the problem on many threads around here.
