ok i need to check that my new budget build is reading the ram correctly, I have 2x4 gig ram on a msi a55m-e33 mobo, windows shows 8 gig (3.45 usable) and speccy says 3 gig single channel ddr3...Ive asked elsewhere and people have mentioned that the gpu is taking more ram than it needs and i should manually set the ram allocation, Can anyone offer any advice on this? If any more hardware specs are needed then il add as requested, Thanks
so looking at these 2 does it all appear to be ok? as stated im hoping to pinch back a bit of ram and is "single channel" as speccy says correct?
