I need some advice on what could be causing the follow problems:
- My HDD is spinning (sounds as though it's spinning)
- The data on it is fine by appearance, I was able to access files on it for about a minute after many failed attempts, even booting an OS on another drive (it drives the whole system to a halt when connected)
- The drive no longer appears under Hard Disk Drives on windows Computer screen.
- I can still see the drive in the bios as a bootable device.
Any advice is much appreciated, let me know if any further details are required.
As of this point, the HDD in question, is no longer accessible through windows, though I'm confident the disk itself is fine, and it still spins, so... i have no idea. Any help is much appreciated.
