Hi .
I saw watching movies on my r9 290 the temp is 82 degree's people say thats normal so I was wondering can I put my gt 620 in with its own screen and watch movies on it and play games on the r9 290 with its own screen. Not at the same moment off course.

You can. But the r9 290 is so powerful that plugging both monitors into it will be the same performance.

Watching movies should not make your video card get to 82c something isn't right... assuming you mean 82c and not 82f that is..

I mean 82 °c sorry.

I only want to watch movies on the gt620 .

Because on the r9 290 watching a movi on 82°c makes a bit of a noise.
I have the gigabyte windforce oc one

Watching movies shouldn't take that much usage from a 290... 82 seems really high. Does your case have good air flow?

Also, I recommend installing or running GPU-Z and see what the load is on your GPU.

Ok
Gpu core clock 1030
Gpu mem clock 1250

Gpu load is 0 and then 98 every second it changes from 98 to 0 and from 0 to 98

Yea sounds like your case dosn't have enough air flow - causing your temps to get higher than they should... 2 fans on a gaming computer while using a r9 290 ( known for being hot cards) is going to turn your comp into an oven.

In games, particularly demanding ones, temperatures in the 80's are not unusual. I think most of the alarm was that you initially made it sound like you were seeing temperatures of 80°C while just playing a movie, which should not be anywhere near as much of a workload as a game.

Are you capping your framerate? I imagine if you had Vsync on with a relatively low resolution like 1600x900, temperatures in Watch Dogs would be a lot lower due to the video card not working as hard.

I play watch dogs crysis 3 farcry 3 battlefield 4 maxed out .. with good fps ..but I can feel my whole case is warm when playing the games . I think I wil get the nzxt phantom 410 or the zalman z11 case ? Witch one is best ?
Considering
Nzxt cost R 1200
zalman z11 cost 600
