Hey guys I have a question and want to know which MOBO I should go with for my build.

- 4790k
- msi twin frozer 770GTX
-16gb ddr3
- 750 watt semi modular

These two 1150 socket board are the same price for me, but i don't know which one. I do realize that the z97 has better technology on it perhaps, and was inclining towards the Gigabyte.

ASUS Maximus VI Hero z87 or Gigabyte GA Z97x gaming7

You want the Z97 Hero not the Z87 board...I would go with the Hero in the latest Z version though.

If your an audiophile, then Gigabyte gaming 7 is a must. But if not then get the Maximus z97 VII version not the z87 VI version.

Z97 Hero VII is the newest version. I have the board but it has way too many features for me as far as overclocking. I got my 4790k running stable at 4.6 and now I stay out of the UEFI.
