Would this build play at a high fps at 1080p

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP Socket 1150 DVI HDMI 7.1 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard

CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K 3.5GHz Socket 1150 6MB L3 Cache

GPU: Sapphire R9 290X VAPOR-X TRI-X 4GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Graphics Card

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 2400MHz C11 Memory Kit

Case: Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01 Red LED Mid-Tower Gaming Case

PSU: Corsair CSM 750W Semi Modular 80+ Gold Power Supply

Could it play higher resolutions?

I would go to a Z97 board but yes it would play whatever games you wanted to play at high resolutions.

It'll play at ultra 60FPS 1080p.

Depends on the game and graphics settings.

It is not that hard for a developer to make a game that needs a $10K plus PC to run it at high settings at 1080P (look at far cry when it was first released)

If you want to play WoW at 120FPS and full settings you can do it for a lot less $.
