I'm hungry for a good game on my 5-year-old computer.
Here are the specs:
Intel Pentium Dual Core 1.60GHz Possessor.
2.00GBs of memory (RAM)
32-bit operating system.
Windows 7 (I don't want to tell which :)).
Just tell me some good 2009 games. :ange:

What graphics card do you have? Which model of Pentium? Can you include screenshots
from GPU-Z and CPU-Z? With that type of CPU, it's probably not worthwhile have anything
above a GTX 460 for the GPU as games will just be CPU-bound; if you currently have a
GPU which is a lot slower, used 460s are cheap on eBay. What model motherboard do
you have? Grab a screenshot of the motherboard tab from CPU-Z. Perhaps you could
increase the RAM a bit, and note that faster Pentium chips from that era are usually
very cheap these days.

I don't know what kind of games you like to play, but older titles I'm still playing include
Oblivion IV, Stalker, COD WaW, Borderlands, Far Cry, Far Cry 2, etc. I would mention Crysis
aswell, but I don't think your system would be good enough for that even with a better CPU.

Either way, don't try to play above 1920x1080. Indeed, 1680x1050 is probably the max one
should use for that level of hardware, assuming a reasonable card like a 460.

Ian.

PS. I use MWSnap (free program) to grab screenshots of app windows, or the whole desktop.
